Cheap(er) bullets

I had my 5R rebarrelled in 65Creed, Krieger barrel.
Upgrading this rifle was an investment and I want to do this right.

This is not meant to be a barrel break in thread. I’ll do a basic shoot clean procedure but not get too crazy with it.

I do reload but haven’t loaded any 65Creed yet. I haven’t fired it yet.
I have had great luck with Hornady Amax in my 308 (previous barrel) and plan to shoot Hornady or Nosler bullets if they perform in this rifle.

I have 5 boxes of Remington 140 grain core locks and a box of Hornady match.
Will the cheaper core lock bullets cause problems? Will bullet concentricity be an issue or leave excessive copper in my barrel?

No, those corelokt bullets won’t cause any issues. Load them and shoot them. I clean my 6.5 creed every 200 rounds or so and shoot suppressed 100% of the time.
