I just got a older 4-16x56 Millett(has the capped turrets) for my 10/22 and I just realized it has a spot of maybe (brown)grease/oil under the lense, and a lighter tan chunk of something.
You can see through the scope fine, the spot is to the side but visible. Has anyone else ever seen something like this happen, or have any ideas.
Doesn't have any rattle if you shake it and everything seems to work fine.
I know it's cheap glass, but it's my budget build I hurt people's feelings with. Has an old 4x fixed from sears thats 30-40yo on it now.
