Cheap pigeon rack for LR rimfire practice

I put together a cheap pigeon rack for long range rimefire practice. It’s difficult to hear the rimefire hitting my 9x12 plate at 300 yards and it doesn’t really swing it any. It’s a lot easier to see a clay break at those ranges.

I’m only into this for about $20. It’s a lot of fun.

Try some steel tubing. My 4"x 8" rectangular steel target measures 8"x 8" and rings like a bell, no problems hearing it at 300
