Cheapest Lapua Brass

Re: Cheapest Lapua Brass

As I'm sure you well know Lapua brass is only cheap in the long run but the best prices and availability has been Cabelas.

Re: Cheapest Lapua Brass

hahahahaha... JSTARSZ, I feel your pain. My shooting buddy just paid $340.00 + shipping for 500 Lapua cases from Midway last week. I texted him with the powder valley price and he was indeed devastated. Surely a mistake he wont make again.

It's funny how, as a reloader, we try to eek out every ounce of accuracy, and cost, out of every round. I have an excel spreadsheet where I run multiple pricing scenarios...apparently I have too much time on my hands OR I just LOVE saving money on awesome components!!!

Re: Cheapest Lapua Brass

If you really want to feel good, compare the .308 Lapua brass with its OMGWTFAREYOUSERIOUS .338 brother. . . .

$300 for 500 pieces is outstanding considering 100 pieces of .338 LM is about $250

Bought exactly that (500 175 SMKs and 500 Lapua brass). Bullets from Midway, brass from Powder Valley.

Re: Cheapest Lapua Brass

Ah, Cabela's. They marked their price up just recently on Lapua. I ordered some 338 a few months back at $214.00 and it was the lowest I could find. Add on their coupon codes and it gets cheaper. Now they are to high, PV is the way to go.

Hey Nehumanas... what's the case life on those Lapua cases through the .338 LM??? Can't be much, can it?
