I'm really curious about the current quality of Cheytac. I've heard consistently TERRIBLE things regarding their QC and customer service for a few years at least. Texas Plinking had such a bad experience he sold his after he waited so long to have one built. All that being said, GarandThumb's recent video makes it look fantastic! Does anyone know how they are now? 14k is a terrible thing to waste.

It’s too bad EDM Arms is gone. I work in tool making and used to take material to heat treat. I saw crates of EDM Arms receivers there to get heat treated.
Always wanted one of their .408s and .338s. I’m sure there are far better rifles for the money but damn they look cool.

off topic, but i heard rumours YEARS ago that a short action of the M200 was being made. Same design just smaller to accomodate 308 class cartridges.... i'm guessing that never happened or was straight up rumour?

EDM arms made them, and then this company bought the rights and continued with the design.
