I saw Bodies: The Exhibition www.bodiestheexhibition.com In Miami. It was really interesting. If you get the chance go see it.

I saw the one in Salt Lake with my kid. It was a good exhibit, especially the smoker's lung thing. But I thought the dead folks were nice people. I did not know they were criminals.

I don't think he should be buying bodies from that area of the world. Why can't he get the bodies from Euopean death rows?

Countries in that region of the world are known for being sketchy with origins of body parts already. Who's to say people weren't killed specifically for sale to this guy?

cadaver body parts have been used for transplant in patients of the USA.

I think it was the Discovery channel that showed how a human body was frozen then cut from head to toe in 1/8 or 1/4 slices then put into some kind of plastic. Very interesting to say the least. All bodies were willed to science. MM

Type of preservative coating, though i can't remember the name. Freaky how well it preserves the feel of everything. When i went to USC (south carolina) medical school for a tour this summer they had a lady's head that was cut anteriorly into segments, then they were passed around. As you said it was interesting.

It's a generic term called plasticizing.

I see, thanks. I wanted to say it had something to do with plastic but i couldn't remember what the guy said about it.
