Why would anything like that be in the news? It has nothing to do with Michael Jackson's doctor or molesting football coaches. It probably sounds worse than it is. (I cant find my sarcasm button)

At least China will now be forced to reveal the extent of its nuclear arsenal.
I know some of you guys are rolling your eyes at what I just said, but it's what happened between us and our old friends, the Soviet Union.
It might lead to the inclusion of the Chinese in a new START-type of treaty if one ever gets made.

Slightly diffrent circumstances, but am I the only one that sees China as the new USSR of 30+ years ago?
There are quite a few similarities:
USSR- Building atomic arsenal for use against US
China- Who are they planning it for?
USSR- aggresively invading surrounding countries to expand(Afghanistan?)
China- Taiwan is in their sights
Now I am not too concerned with an actual shooting war with China. Between NATO and the UN, they are still outgunned. Perhaps another cold war, but there is one big diffrence between then, with the USSR, and now. We, along with several other allied countries, have a fair financial debt to China. We never had that with the USSR. That changes a lot. Gives China a big bargaining chip, couple that with the fact it seems China is starting to flex its muscles, does not make for positive intentions in the future.
