The boys n I were hunting muley in Nevada again this year n my younger son (14 yrs) spotted a small group moving across the mountains towards us. We decided it was time to move and about half way through our stalk they showed up right in front of us. Nothing but open hillside left n we were still at 450 yds. He had been shooting well earlier in the year as were prepared for the hunt so I let him give it a try.

No your right he was definitely pouting. He fell of a small cliff when he dropped him and riped the lower lip and busted his leg.

Lucky though nothing but a small chip to the bone.

Re: Chip off the old block

That's a great story and so cool the youngest man can walk the dog at that range! I gotta soft spot for father/sons hunting stories. Thanks for sharing and tell the lad "great shooting" for us.

Cheers,
Breeze
