I'm looking for a little input on a future purchase. I'm about to start a job that's gonna pay me way more than I need to live so I've been drawing up a list to expand my collection a little. The Gladius is first on my list but I also want to get an 18" AR. I've been looking at Noveske and the Larue Stealth upper. From what I've heard I can't go wrong with either, but I'm curious if anyone has any input to offer.

Re: Choices

Honestly man, and this is coming from someone who only owns one ar, I seen so much positive stuff about Larue and Noveske I dont think you could go wrong. I hope to get my hands on some of those too one day.

I'm glad you piped in with this wonderfully helpful comment. I figured someone would say something to this effect, but seeing as how I tried searching before asking I was left with little option. I'm sure responding to this thread completely ruined your day, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I've been on this forum long enough to know that things get posted repeatedly but I tried searching and couldn't find what I wanted to know. So if anyone has any useful input it would be very much appreciated.

Re: Choices

Well at least you have the means to have a choice. Between the two AR Uppers either one are good choices and not just for shooting but if you wanted to resale one day. They both have great names known for accuracy and quality. As far a Gladius - that should be left unsaid. If you can afford it buy it and you will never regret a GAP purchase.

Yeah, I'm as giddy as a six year old on Christmas day. I've wanted a GAP rifle for a long time and just could never get the funds together, college is a bitch.

Re: Choices

I have shot both quite a bit and you really can't go wrong with either. I would lean towards the LaRue for the customer service (not that Noveske is bad but LaRue will go out of their way to make you satisfied), lower price (you can get the upper and an LT104 for the same price as the Noveske) and just my personal preference for the LaRue rail over the Noveske.

Congrats on the new job.
