Not exactly. There are several types of bankruptcy, and if his company had items auctioned or if Chris himself retained any firearms from the company he would be responsible. If he conveniently "Sold" or "Lost" the firearms then he could also face criminal charges. I know plenty of crooks with nice homes, cars, boats, etc that took the money and then declared bankruptcy then found themselves in court and all their assets, investment portfolios, etc frozen.
