I have tried to find/read as many threads as I could find about your experience(s) with CA rifles. I know several people have had accuracy issues with them, but from what I've read, the issues seem to mainly be with their carbon barrels. I am looking at their Mesa long range in 300 PRC, and was just curious if anyone had any insight on this particular model? Or if you have had issues with other rifles, how was their customer service? Any information on the rifle and/or company is appreciated.

I have the standard Mesa in 450 Bushmaster for a southern MI legal deer hunting rifle. It’s a little tack driver. I thought I had an issue with it once and they were great to deal with. While disassembling it for shipment I noticed my base screws were very loose

friend has a BA tactical in 300 win. he was initially having a issues with consistency. I looked at it and the action screws were loose. tightened them up an its a .25-.75 moa gun most days with factory ammo. heard good and bad from them. but that's the case with many "production" rifles.

I'm looking at this exact rifle. I've been reading every article I can find on it and have watched several you tube videos. It seems that the general consensus is that they're an accurate, well built rifle. I've never personally handled, or fired one though. But its on a short list between that or a Bergara Premier 300PRC. Not sure on the model yet if I go the Bergara route. Probably the Premier Approach.
I have a mesa in 308 that i am pretty happy with. The action is smooth as glass and accuracy is around 1/2 moa with federal gmm 168s. Great deer rifle but I probably will not buy another christensen again. The only complaint I have with them is the stocks. I've held the mesa ,mesa long range, ridgeline, b a tactical, MPR and summit ti. And none of the stocks fit quit the way I like. For the money I would have a rifle built exactly the way I want. Just my 2 cents.
MPR's in 300PRC are going for $2,100 and the short actions are $1999 at EuroOptic right now. I'm tempted to buy an MPR in 300PRC I bet could sell that chassis for $700 then throw the barreled action in a T4a I've always wanted a Manners build and I think I could come out about $1,800 cheaper by going this route over a custom.
CA's MPR's are $2000 they come with a carbon fiber wrapped barrel a sub moa guarantee a decent brake and a decent trigger. If can you put me together a parts list for a custom using a carbon fiber wrapped barrel that includes a decent trigger and brake and uses the MPR's chassis which is $1050 alone and only leaves you $950 left for the rest of the rifle I'd like to see you try.
