Well since I have no one at home any longer I hit one of the ranches tonight for a coyote or 2.
Darn pals w/families couldn't go for some reason....:). Dropped this one at 650pm. I had 7 come in total at this one spot. 1st at 6pm, 2nd at 630pm the one I shot at 650. I did not go get it right off as I didn't need to scent the bottom land up until I was ready to head home. A pair at 830pm that got barked at by another pair coming from their west. They outsmarted me by keeping in the low spots along the fence line & dips, barking & chasing each other staying out past 300 yards and never making a good target.
That's Ok though as I always get at least 1 every week I hit it there.
Shots fired don't scare coyotes that far off around here, they may hit sonic boom running off for maybe 1200 yards, then come back after an hour or so.
