What’s a durable and accurate chronograph? I can’t afford a top dollar upper end chronographs. Looking for a dependable and reasonably priced unit. Your pros and cons on the graphs will be helpful. Thanks

My magnetospeed sporter served me well for a long time. Still works. I just use a garmin now. You may be able to pick up a used magnetospeed pretty reasonable now days.

If you don't mind attaching something to your barrel while shooting, the magnetospeed sporter is accurate and reasonably priced.

I have an Oehler 35P that is very good for an optical chronograph. You may be able to find one used at a reasonable price , as I did.

The offerings from Pact are decent in my experience.

Since the Garmin came out, there have been a lot of used Chrono's at good prices. I'd look for a used magnetospeed. I can't imagine going back to setting up a unit on a tripod downrange anymore, but if you don't mind that effort, you should be able to find some good deals out there for sure.
