Few years ago back home, some puke shot a Sheriff's deputy when he pulled him over for a tail light out. He stole the patrol car, ditched it and jacked another, then crashed and took off through the fields. Went to a farmhouse and held the older retired gentleman at gunpoint. Ole boy told the bad guy that having that gun pointed at him was makin him nervous, he needed to go to the john and take a leak. Stepped out after peeing with an old .357 and put two in him, DRT. That fellow was a retired prison guard and had received the reverse 911 call.
The deputy made a full recovery too.
