Ckye pod users chime in !!!!

Ckye pod users has anyone had the chance to use both the standard size and the double leg ???? Is the extra 3.5 inches worth it ???? ( I’m sure she’s thinks so lol) but is it really worth the extra 3 bills on top of an already expensive standard size ????

I love MDT, they are great guys who put out fantastic products.

The Ckye Pod is an excellent bipod, but its not even worth how much they charge.

Yes, I have one. I used Harris' for years. But I'm hoping a competitor to the CP releases soon. $600 is just ridiculous.

I'm in the same boat as @Birddog6424 I have the Ckye Pod with PRS legs after using nothing but Atlas for over a decade. Yes, the Ckye Pod adds a level of versatility that is almost unmatched and I am seriously contemplating getting a couple more, but I ask myself if it's $300+ better than my Atlas and I honestly don't believe it is. If they came down in price, I would have them on all my rifles.

That tbac is really good. Its much better than the atlas imo, and while not quite as versatile as the ckye, its pretty close and works very well for a lot less money.

I love my TBAC as well. Ckye looks neat, but not at that price for a bipod…

I have a single-pull (standard legs), double-pull and triple-pull and the double-pull is definitely the most versatile. It goes as low as the single with standard legs but gets you extra height. Definitely the way to go if you're looking to get a single Ckyepod to cover all your bases.

My take on it would be to jump to a double pull if you have a prs leg. If you have the standard height you're not gaining enough for the price.

This was exactly what one of my shooting buddies did after he tried my standard leg vs his prs leg.

yea its really nice once you get used to I favor it even over my atlases that I still love , but I can't argue the price is just way too high not that the atlas 5 h was all that much cheaper at the time I got mine 480. over the cky pod at 500 ish even though you really are buying the functions it's a lot of money to do a split but it is a nice feature just less impressive at that cost . and after trying the extra tall legs it's just too high for me at best for me on a normal day I don't need over three clicks high 4 when we went to a range that had us shooting almost straight up a mountain side and 1k away but that's me . I do wish they made a pad like the cleets except instead of metal it was a softer plastic that stuck instead of slide over metal tables but a c clamp and board has worked well enough and has been a really cheap fix . so between the wood , good luck to you if you should decide to get it , it is a nice bi pod easy to use and all best of luck on what ever you decide to get .

I still own the CAL and the Ckye.
The Harris was OK, but after buying a pic adapter, and the Pod Lok, it was just as much as an Atlas.
I will not sell my Ckye pod as I like it that much.
I also plan on keeping the CAL as it fills a need due to my Ckye being ARCA mount only.
Not sure if they make a mount for the Ckye that will accept Picatinny and ARCA, but if they did, I’d sell the CAL and buy another Ckye.

You just need the rrs adapter and then you can run rrs clamps on it

I have the RRS adapter on mine. I was going to go ARCA only, but this one came up for sale in the PX. I hated spending the money, but I won't give it up now that I have it.
