Remnants of BLM's recent sojourn here are still present, such as the lights they had put up at their "field-headquarters" and no doubt we are under surveillance of all kinds, but there is no overt, visible massing of federal law enforcement.
We are, however concerned that the domestic enemies of the Constitution that infest the federal government might try to take advantage of folks going home, and attempt to make a move on the Bundy family. We feel certain that they will want to try again at some point, perhaps in a different way, even perhaps by executing a dynamic entry raid to attempt to arrest the Bundys. And we have heard that this is being discussed, though I have not been able to directly confirm it. But it is a real risk.
Therefore, to prevent such a raid, or to at least throw a monkey wrench into any such plans and make it more difficult for them, we're doing the following:
1: We are calling on all Oath Keepers who can possibly get here to come to the Bundy Ranch to serve as volunteers on an ongoing, rotating watch.
That is not because there is any great emergency, but is a preventative measure - sort of like doing a rotation on the DMZ.
I am urging each and every Oath Keepers member who can, to get here and spend a bit of time to ensure that the Bundys are not alone. We need boots on the ground. We want you here, standing watch, which is appropriate for us Oath Keepers since our motto is "Not on Our Watch."

But people, however dedicated, will get burnt out and we need others to rotate in. We need you to step up and serve your turn on watch.
We are raising money to help with gasoline - just be sure to save all receipts for reimbursement.
(EA here: That may only be available on first-come first-served basis. Of the money we've raised thus far, we've given $12,000.00 dollars to the Bundy family, and we purchased a $1,000.00 generator, but we are now raising more money to help some folks traveling from afar.)

We will be continuing this effort and we need proactive Oath Keepers to help arrange a steady stream of State and County officials to rotate presence there so that the idiot government will have to admit it's ready to kill sitting elected public servants to assert its authority, or leave the Bundy family - and their cows - alone. Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, on Monday night, served the first vigil in the Bundy Ranch House (if only the Nevada Governor, Brian Sandoval, had a fraction of her integrity and courage. We wouldn't need to be here).
And to support that "official" stream of State and County officials, as well as others with names of gravity, Oath Keepers' general membership will also rotate into service there.
There is also some serious perimeter security and Oath Keepers CPTers who volunteer to help with the out-lying security in the desert will find this to be a great training exercise. Bring your gear. Consider this your Minute Man FTX. But however you come, do come. Oath Keepers will not be alone in this. Many other Americans are mobilizing now, millions of Americans are learning about it and are wanting to be helpful. Be part of it.

You know Bundy would not have a problem if he would just pay like everyone else does. He believes in states rights, well the Nevada Constitution recognizes the Federal Govt as the supreme authority.
I wonder if Bundy sent a letter to the IRS a few days ago saying he does not pay taxes because he does not recognize the Fed.

- The letter states very clearly that grazing rights DID exist, and that in 1998 these rights were sold to Clark County. Now if a man and his family had been using that area since the 1870s to make a living in an industry that benefits all (or at least all that eat) - why wouldn't those rights be offered to him first?
- The letter goes on to state that those grazing rights were purchased by Clark County such that they could use the area as a mitigation bank. That mitigation bank was a give away to those that sought to develop in nearby areas. That is a collusive arrangement.
The turtle? That is merely an excuse for extortion both in terms of fees and the number of head that could be grazed. Which was in fact the tipping point for Bundy to say - not paying and FOAD.

The other day my 'good pal' Glen Beck's rag put out The Blaze RE: 7 things to know about the Bundy deal. Specifically, item #6 Is Reid Working with the Chinese to Force the Bundys Out? The feature article attempts to allay concerns about the alleged conspiracy by citing a sub-article dated June 2013 which stated that ENN had pulled the plug on the project. However, as reported by the FreeBeacon in August of 2012 (when the deal was first exposed): The project is threatened, however, because NV Energy—Nevada’s largest utility provider—has said it is not in the market for renewable energy at this time, citing the higher costs of solar power and the fact that it has already exceeded the state-mandated quota for renewable sources through 2014. How Harry Reid has been pulling strings for Chinese solar energy company | Washington Free Beacon/
So what did Reid do? He attacked NV Energy for not buying the solar power from ENN - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took a break from stumping for renewable energy at Tuesday's National Clean Energy Summit to slam NV Energy for keeping its Reid Gardner coal-fired plant open 50 miles outside of Las Vegas. Reid's comments came just days after he criticized the utility for not agreeing to buy power from ENN Mojave Energy LLC, a Chinese company that has proposed a major solar energy manufacturing and generating plant near Laughlin, but is finding few takers for its planned output Reid wants NV Energy coal plant shut down | Las Vegas Review-Journal

I have a copy and if you look for it there is a cached web link to the BLM page dated 4/3/14 which states that NGOs are concerned that Cliven Bundy's cows threaten the mitigation area for a solar energy zone….
Now - if the project was killed in June of 2013 - why is this a concern?
The rule of man continues to rear its head when you begin to look at the Harry Reid -> Rory Reid -> Neil Kornzie (BLM head and Reid policy advisor from 2003 - 2011) connection.
Yes the man lost in court, but once you begin to see the facts of the case you realize - he never had a chance in court to begin with. Don't get sucked into the 'he didn't pay' argument - it is too simplistic. This matter is simply about the rule of man vs the rule of law. I have a copy and if you look for it there is a cached web link to the BLM page dated 4/3/14 which states that NGOs are concerned that Cliven Bundy's cows threaten the mitigation area for a solar energy zone….
Now - if the project was killed in June of 2013 - why is this a concern?
The rule of man continues to rear its head when you begin to look at the Harry Reid -> Rory Reid -> Neil Kornzie (BLM head and Reid policy advisor from 2003 - 2011) connection.
Yes the man lost in court, but once you begin to see the facts of the case you realize - he never had a chance in court to begin with. Don't get sucked into the 'he didn't pay' argument - it is too simplistic. This matter is simply about the rule of man vs the rule of law. Ever consider how the Equal Footing Doctrine plays into all of this? I have only read about it briefly , but constitutionally all states were supposed to be on equal footing. If you look at the ratio of public lands in the original states and compare it to the West, the West has 20x – 40x as much public land. I wonder if there is a case that can be made by ALL western states on this note?

We have strayed far from the original intent, first principles, the idea of private property, states rights, etc etc etc… eventually, and it may not be the issue of Bundy's livelihood or any one man's livelihood, but eventually the Federal overreach is going to cause the dam to break. Meditate on what Bundy actually stands for. He may be just one man and a family, but tomorrow it could be anyone of us. Its easy to steamroll people when they're alone, but when we stick together and speak with one voice to push back, not so much. My wife mentioned today how the price of beef has gone up drastically. She said she also heard talk of it on morning news. I asked if the discussion had anything to do with the Bundy Rancher situation, she said NO, that it was in context of demand in China etc. Now, I find it curious, and more investigation would need to happen to bear this out, but we have the Federal Govt trying to cut a deal to have a Chinese company to some green energy bs in the west. At the same time we have the Federal Govt via an unelected bureaucracy and regulation putting beef producers out of business. Less beef = higher cost. These people who you elect to FIRST, HONOR THEIR OATH, tax you through inflationary practices. Why do we let these people stay in office? TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. Your children who can't even vote owe money to the Federal Govt. TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. The reason this case is so pivotal is because it encompasses so much of what is wrong with our Govt and those in office NOT HONORING THEIR OATH.

The grazing fees charged are so low that one could argue that we are subsidizing cattle men just like farmers. You have a vote, get it changed. Why does the Federal Government own and control up to 85% of the Western States----in violation of the Act that Created Nevada----Said Act calls for the sale of all the Federal Land in Nevada "the land shall be sold, and 5% of the proceeds of such sale shall be given to the State of Nevada..."
The Feds have not honored this law that they themselves passed, and now, over a hundred years later, they are using Federal Agencies armed like the military, to intimidate a land owner whose family has managed this land for 145 years. There are numerous case law precedents for said rancher to effectively own this land, as he and his family have done all the upgrades to this land over the years. For instance, in most New England States, if a person solely maintains a piece of land or a county road, for a period of years---I believe 20--- that land/road become his property. I am not saying that is the law in Nevada, but there is case law precedent for such actions.
Whether you actually agree with the Bundys or not, the principles are much larger than this particular case. It is very telling that we can amass an army to take cows from a rancher, but we cannot do the same to prevent Illegal Aliens from entering the US. His elected officials---Harry Reid---have come out against their own constituents, and declared war on their own people---"We cannot have Americans who do not follow the rule of law, and simply let them walk away. This is not over."

If there are 1 million patriots in a country of 350M than everyone should donate $1 to a Go Fund Me to pay off the Bundy bill and pull the rug out from under the govt argument (which is a strong one to many). Clean the slate and lets see where this goes. If it continues, the side that is pushing has exposed their ill intentions.
