Rifle Scopes Clean reticle options

I think I want to move away from Christmas tree style reticles or “busier” reticles with information I don’t necessarily need due to the type of shooting I do.

I rarely shoot at unknown distances and I dial all of my dope so am looking for something that will give me a cleaner view.

Currently am looking at the JTAC and P5FL as contenders for my next reticle choice. Anyone that has had experience with these reticles or even both have any input for me?

If you dial everything, kinda doesn’t matter. Either will be fine, down to personal preference of features of each scope, elevation travel etc etc.

The S&B P4/P5 line has a long history of performance and clean lines. The Nightforce Mil-C and Mil-R are also good choices.

We find that long distance shooters like the clean reticles and dial-in all the dope, especially ELR. PRS and tactical shooters like the holdovers for quick shots, and opt for the more complex "Christmas Tree" or Horus style reticles.

Anything with .2mil has marks on the horizontal will work as well as the next. H2CMR, Mil-C, PR1, JTAC, MPCT1 just to name a few good ones that come in solid optics.
