Cleaning rod for Vudoo 22rf.

Just wondering what cleaning rods,jags,bore guide and brushes you are using on your vudoo.I just ordered a mcmillan stock for one and will be calling vudoo for a barreled action.

get a vudoo bore guide, cheap enough and fits perfect
check the size of the rod, not all 22lr rods are the same diameter
i use a push through jag (i use wrap jags on my center fire) because im not cleaning down to the steel on my 22
i use bronze brushes, just never got into the nylon ones but i dont brush often
most often i use hopps on a few patches followed by a dry
if i have time or put a ton of rounds through it ill do a few strokes of a wet brush, then push a few patchs through

For my 22rf, I use Tipton 17 caliber rods.

I primarily use a bore snake for cleaning my .22 rifles and pistols.

Alternatively you can check out an airgun cleaning kit. I got one for my .177 cal and it included attachments for .22's as well. It has a very thin rod to fit in the smaller caliber.

I have no idea if there's any truth to avoiding the centerfire cleaning rod.

I use a Dewey Rod, doesn't damage the barrel, runs smooth, and does a great job.

Have one rod for my 22LR another for my 17HMR.
