Clearing a jam at the gun counter...fail

As one of the commentators pointed out the guy behind the counter should have stopped that. In the stores credit they had a med kit handy.

Shoots friend.
Brilliant.
They miss the entire first half of the video.

Not sure which country this is, but they need to translate the basic gun safety rules SOON:

It looks like the doufus in red clears most of the rounds from the pistol.

Bet his friend wishes he cleared them all...

Neither of those dudes were wearing a mask....dont they realize what danger they were to themselves and others?

I cant believe this happened right there in the presence of bloused boots counter guy.

What a fucking idiot. Didn't remove magazine, pointed it at friend, put finger on trigger, pulled trigger. Like one of the comments said, nowadays, guns don't just go off unless you pull the trigger☆

To the shot friend's credit, he was really calm and cool after being shot by his dumbass friend. I would probably break that fuckers nose.

☆unless you drop a SIG. 😂

There's two people who should have access to guns but hey its a good learning experience. Would of been better if one guy held a flashlight to tell the other guy when the barrel was clear.

This is why I go to the range at 7:00 A.M. om Wednesday mornings (nobody there). Indoor ranges are worse. Prefer shooting with folks I know that have mastered proper firearm safety. (y)

In 2020 I witnessed:

1. People try to shoot the wrong ammo out of their firearms on more than one occasion. Thankfully, the 300blk round in the .223 chamber of the guy next to me didn't ignite when he pulled the trigger.
2. Someone crawl into the range to retrieve a flashlight that flew off their rifle.
3. People walking around behind the firing line with their finger on the trigger. Sometimes holding a pistol and swinging their arms around like Tony Soprano when he's angry.
4. People put god knows how many rounds through target hangers, ricochet off of walls, floors etc. The place was almost pristine and now looks like Kosovo after the war.

A lot of these people can't keep rounds on their own targets at 25 yards max.... I also saw a woman at the outdoor range place a target on the uppermost portion of the tallest target stand available at the range and shoot from maybe five yards away. She was maybe 5 foot even. Didn't see a single splash on the berm behind the target. Hopefully no-one was hit with tiny artillery fire far, far away. I called over the range officer, but he took a while to get to her...

Fuck. That. I'm out.

I'd rather shoot beer cans with a pellet gun out back. You'd think crazy ammo prices would keep the range from getting packed with newbies. Nope. Not here.

There are other "versions" of this video out there. The beginning of the video is missing from this link.

The shop is in Brazil... and the longer video shows him dropping the mag, then racking the slide and putting the ejected round on the counter.

He never visually inspects the chamber though. So the speculation is that maybe he had a double feed, and when he racks the slide the second round comes out, but the chambered round stayed.

I'm not sure though... I've watched it a few times and he racks that slide a few times. Maybe not far enough and maybe his extractor is worn and not working properly.

But there is no question he drops the mag first and it looks like he ejects a round after.

Besides staff letting the entire scene turn into chaos they let everything become unsecured.
Watch the amount of people walking in and out of the place and NOT ONE STAFF watched.
IDK but there was a shit ton of firearms just hanging out.

Vid won't play for me, but, I don't know why more LGS(s), don't have discharge/clearing barrels in their stores, like we had in our Armories. I mean, shit is bound to happen sooner-than-later. And no, I have never had an AD. But...... Mac

This video picks up a little late in the event from other videos posted. The idiot pulled his concealed weapon. It is his weapon that he is fumbling with. This version looks like he pulled his weapon to make a comparison to the gun (for sale) on the counter(mistake #1).

He then goes through, what looks like, 2 clearing motions, and fails to check if it is clear (mistake #2) before continuing. After that, you will see several more mistakes leading to the conclusion.

Humans making human errors...the roads are full of the same shit. Shit happens and hard lessonrs are learned. If youve never fucked up real good, keeping living. I bet the policy in that store changed.

A guy I was at the range with took a ricochet to the groin. I was standing right next to him. Some other guy set his gun down and it discharged thru the table and hit the table leg and came back at us. It lodged just below the skin. I always love his "I got shot" story.

I have just come to terms with the fact that when my numbers up, its up.

Be safe....and not just with firearms.
