Last month I picked up a CMMG 22 conversion for my AR. Here's some lessons learned after the first 5000 rounds:
Make sure you use high velocity, jacketed ammo (Fed bulk works the best)
Ammo that doesn't create enough pressure to completely reset the trigger may double on you since the trigger isn't caught by the sear but still returns with ehough force to set off the primer.
After about 500 rounds, make sure you clean the hell out of the rifle, shoot a few 5.56 rounds, and then clean again if you want to control the build up in the barrel (another reason to use jacketed ammo as well)
Accuracy is decent with consistent 1 3/4" groups at 50 yards. That's more than sufficient for the CQB speed drills
Don't run it too wet. Kroil and FP-10 are working well for me
