CMMG mk3 w/ DPMS LR308...Cycling issues

Anyone have these issues with this build?

Basically the bolt takes the round and doesn't close the whole way. It has gotten better since it was new but i figured after 200 rounds it would be good to go.

I run it wet and it will cycle 1-5 rounds in the mag... anymore than that...cycling issues.

Really doesn't like PMAGS or DPMS Mags....CProducts mags are better.

Any suggestions? Polish the ramps? anything?

I really want this thing to feed 10 rounds no prob.

Try easing the bolt forwards very slowly with a dummy round. Does it feed out of the magazine reliably or does the follower tilt and the bullet tip hit below the feedramp? If it does you may have to bend the feed lips on your dpms mags that's what I had to do. Also make sure you have the proper buffer and spring as the bolt should come forward with a LOT of force.

I have a DPMS LR308 that I built from scratch that had a ton of magazine related issues at first. It was a jammamatic with the DPMS mags, but a simple fix did the trick. I did this post on my blog with pics - http://fateoflegions.blogspot.com/2009/10/dpms-magazine-remedy.html - and have been told that it has been helpful to some. I have read where lots of people had this exact same problem with their LR308s with the DPMS mags.

Does this sound like the problem you're having?
