My team was using Simrad NV devices, and now we have a few AN/PVS 22's. The Simrad device is nice and clear, but has some operational issues with it, that can be worked through. The 22's are so much easier to use, but are not as clear. Just noting. My question: does the PVS-22 have to be perfectly optically centered in the objective bell of the day scope, or just close. A canted rail and forward rail are going to set up at different angles. Am i concerned for no reason? Thanx!

Re: CNVD question?

In addition, the scope will be at exactly the same angle with respect to the forward rail once it's zeroed at 100 yards or meters on a canted rail as it will on a flat rail.

The day scope doesn't have to be perfectly centered in the NV optic. If the 22 isn't clear enough, get a 26 or a 29. Much more betta!
