Hunting & Fishing Cold weather mitts

Wore'n these for a few years now. Was -15 deg. this year Elk hunting and on Horseback. NO issues with cold fingers and you still have the fingers for bolt manipulation and trigger.

I have used wool flip tops, arctic shield glommits and just about every other pair of "warm" gloves. What I have found to be the best for sitting on stand, muff with a hot hands pack in it. I wear lightly insulated gloves to and from and while in the stand. They are thin enough to have dexterity but thick enough if I happen to have to hold my bow for several minutes before shooting my hand does not freeze.
As far as a recommendation on mittens to get..I haven't a clue

I use these here in ND during the winter. By far the nicest and warmest gloves ive ever owned. I picked up a pair of white ones to use for coyote calling.

If I wear them out, id buy another set the next day.

I’m in need of some cold weather mittens for when stationary. Any and all suggestions are needed thank you
I have a set of the cabelas cold weather mitts that come with liners. I worn them in 8 degree weather and my hands were sweating sitting down. Have not used them since.

For cold weather, I use a pair of Outdoor Research Alti Mits. I have the black pair. Great mitts and I have not had any issues while wearing them in below zero temps. Granted, you lose some dexterity in mitts but if you are just sitting in the cold, these should work well for you.

@roostercogburn98 I have a couple pairs of those... somewhat on the small side for me but you can find them on sale for pretty inexpensive sometimes.

I have a pair of Older Cabellas hunting mittens with slots for trigger finger. Light liners inside and they have worked well deer/coyote/elk hunting when things get cold.

Wore those more than my fair share in Alaska. I have a complete set of OR gloves including the artic mittens in the off chance I ever get back to any cold weather

I loved those things!! Used them in Alaska a LOT. Still have all ten fingers.
Between them and the mickey mouse boots, I left with all my fingers and toes. Felt like I lost some on a few occasions! Airplanes get cold when they open the doors in the winter time, but man was the view amazing coming down.
