I don't need any more firearms in my collection, just need to refine what I do have with better optics and accessories. I have to sell toys to buy toys however. I have a 1937 S/42 Luger that was customized by Hugh Clark into the "Baby" Luger configuration with a 2" barrel and grip shortened 3/4" that should bring enough to finance some things. I have a Colt Lightweight Sporter (My first and likely only AR 15) that I would like to direct as a CQB Carbine (currently has an Aimpoint M2 in an ARMS Comp II mount and an SEI Vortex FH). I would like to install a CAR 15 style stock for a Nostalgic appearance. Saw some (5-6 in a vendor's glass case) on a table at a recent show that were plastic wrapped with a Colt decal that were priced at $250 ea.. Couldn't talk to the vendor as he was too busy talking to ALL his groupies to TCB. Don't think I want to spend $250 on something that may or may NOT be actually made by Colt, but I do like that style. Can anyone please give some guidance regarding their experiences with similar stocks and the proper tubes (Mil Spec), springs, buffers etc... that are also needed . Would really like something that is solid with no "wiggle" when extended if possible. As an after-thought, I also have a Ruger .44Mag Deerstalker Carbine (looks like a fat 10/22), has anyone ever heard of someone making a M1913 style receiver mount for this ? Thanks !! Joe
