I have a Colt LE6920 M4. Bought as a flat top LE6920-OEM2 model and added all Bravo Company hardware as you can see.
What would it be worth without sights and MRO? Am I stupid for wanting to sale it? Bought it to carry on duty, but my department supplies us all with M4’s so this just sits in the safe. See pictures for details.

As a seller, value is the price you are willing to accept. As a buyer, value is the price you are willing to pay. The AR15 market is pretty heavily saturated, and accept to a few fans of the prancing pony, a Colt isn’t bringing anything to the table that 10 others do not.

If you really, REALLY, want to sell it. Vote democrat... ?

Depending on the production year and condition it is in, 900-1150. With that being said, the people buying it would not know much about ar’s and that current production colts are disappointing.

I myself would keep it or list it at a stupid high price, I’m sure it will go up in value.

I've not seen an increase in value since Colt discontinued commercial sales. Demand is probably based on which way people feel the political winds are blowing. Prices will increase if people begin to believe a Democrat will win in November. It's an excellent political barometer.

Realistically, about $800. You can buy OEM models new in the $780 range, new 6920 & 6720’s in the $1k range and new SOCOM’s for $1400-1500.

What you have is neither rare nor in high demand.

Easiest way to find out is to check Gunbroker and see what someone is willing to pay. That kind of settles the question, especially if you average a handful of sales.

The only way to get the money out of an ar15 that is not in factory form is to part it out. Even the it is unlikely. Used "Franken" AR15s is on rare area where the total is not worth the sum of the parts...
