Colt sear block

Guys,

I have a early 90's vintage Colt Comp HBAR and the lower has that sear block thingy. I intend on using this stick for a practice precision rig and service rifle but the trigger pulls like a damn brick.

Is removing the sear block for a trigger upgrade a DIY project or is it something best left to a gunsmith?

Its "blind pinned", I think there is a spring and detent but its designed to be a one way ticket.

It might be worth letting somebody else do the work. If you want to give it a try:

It's the only way I know you could order a Geissele, even the one with the oversized Colt pins.
