Rong,

Turn the objective clock wise (screw it "on") until it stops. This will be the closest setting you have for your scope. Turn the Objective counter clock wise to go farther out.

Pay little attention to the markings on the objective. They are and approximation and rarely coincide with reality. Take a peice of tape and mark/make your own.

Cheers,

Doc

Re: Confuse leupold EFR,who can help me?

turn the scope up to 20 power. Point it at a target 15 yards away. Turn the objective till the target is clear. Look at your objective and it should be right on or near the 15 meter mark.

Re: Confuse leupold EFR,who can help me?

This scope from 10 meters to infinity, i confuse why the mark number have out of order.I used many AO scope,10->15->20->30->50...............
but this scope 10->30->25->20->18->16...........

what that mean?
how use???

Re: Confuse leupold EFR,who can help me?

It's not going from 10 to 30... etc. See how you drew the lines under all the numbers? See how the line under the 10 is shorter than the others? Those lines probably coincide with the revolutions of the objective, and it likely takes 3 revolutions to go from 10 to infinity, as that is a large range of adjustment.

Re: Confuse leupold EFR,who can help me?

RONG, this the RIGHT way to set your AO.

1.Turn the AO focus ring COUNTERCLOCKWISE (when looking throgh the eyepeice)until it stops.

2. Turn the focus ring CLOCKWISE until the "10m" mark aligns with the indicator mark on the bell of the scope.

3. From this point, all readings of the focus ring are in numerical order when the ring is turned CLOCKWISE from the shooting position.

4. Adjust the ring as you would a standard adjustable objective model.

I just read this from the owners manual I got with my VX-3 6.5-20X40mm EFR which arrived yesterday.

Hope this helps.

Buzzsaw Thank U for your reply,i have question in your 3

Turn the AO focus ring COUNTERCLOCKWISE (when looking throgh the eyepeice)until it stops.

next:

1 Turned CLOCKWISE from 10m->30->25->20->18->16 ,but it no numerical order.

OR

2 IF Turn "COUNTERCLOCKWISE" from (first circle) 10m->13->14->16->18->20->30->40 (second circle)->50->100->200->400,but you say turned CLOCKWISE ?

which is right?
