but to begin at the beginning.....
Michael Ware graciously donated a rifle makeover to the Smack-the-Smiley prize table, and I was drawn to win it. I had an idea, but was not sure it was something he would want to do.

'Barbie pink' and zebra stripe.

He never balked at my ideas, and was enthusiastic about it in fact.
Anyways, on Christmas Eve, she opened up a personalized Tikka T3, and instantly had tears running down her cheeks.

Today we mounted a scope, got it zeroed and headed out to fill a doe tag.

She loves the rifle, Michael did a great job!!!

She will have this 223 long after I'm gone.

(Yale T-shirt is from my son, he did summer school there.
She's got one semester to go yet in California, then hopefully she will move back closer)

She saw 2 bucks that she would like to get a crack at next November.
Yep, she is excited, and I did score major "Cool Dad points",
