I called Mr.Perry today to ask if he had planned on adding the G7 BC option to the Exbal programs.

He stated that he had no plans on doing so and that if you wanted that he had a Computer based program called Gmodels. This program allows you to choose which BC that you want however is PC based only.

During my conversation I asked if there was demand for it would he do so. He said that he did not think that he could do it!

So I left it at that with him. He seemed to be getting disturbed by my asking him about it!

So there you go. It does not look like Mr. Perry is going to update his program to allow for G7 model.

It just so happens that I e-mailed him with a similar question today. He probably thinks there's a conspiracy afoot!

For what its worth, his response was:

"We will not add G7 capability to any of the Exbal version until there is clearcut agreement by the vendors to provide the recommended model and the coefficient for that model for each of their bullet."

Berger is clearly leading the way here, but will the others follow?

That sounds a little wierd! As it stands I can enter any BC I want! I am not a programer but the user is the one resposible for entering that data not the mfg's. I know he currently has factory load data available in Exbal. I never use it! I want to be able to choose which BC model to calculate the drops. Does not seem all that difficult to me, but I could be wrong.
