Converting Tikka T3x 6.5 CM to 6 CM

It is my understanding that the 65 CM and 6 CM cartridge use the same case and therefore the same bolt face. If this is correct, if I want to re-chamber my tikka from 65 to 6 all I need to do is replace the barrel? I appreciate any help that y’all can give. Thanks!

Yep like the other guys say. I have both and I can’t tell the difference. However it’s said the 6cm will burn up a barrel faster than the 6.5Cm.
