Gunsmithing Converting to detachable magazine on Remington 700

I have a Remington 700 in a McMillian A2 stock that is BDL format (DD Ross). I want to convert to detachable magazine to use AICS pattern magazines. I have a few questions, I see a wide range of prices, who to go with? Is Hawkins M5 Style detachable magazine bottom metal worth considering? I know I don't want to go with any thing plastic.

Hawkins is good stuff. So is Grayboe, Badger, and Surgeon.

Most any reputable gunsmith can inlet for an M5 profile bottom metal. LRI is pretty fast and does excellent work.

LRI does a great job. I have sent quite a few to them and its a quick turn around.

I believe LRI requires the whole rifle to do the inlet at least last time we sent one they did.
