I am finally getting the chance to take my new rifle out this weekend to get zeroed in. Although I have other rifles, this is the first that has a scope with turrets. I typically zero my other rifles between 200-300 yards and hold for drop. Now that I have my new set up am I better off zeroing at 100? Or should I continue to zero at 2-300?

The rifle is a Sako Trg 22 with a vortex razor hd g2. Mostly used for target shooting. With maybe some hunting mixed in.

It really depends on what you're comfortable with and the most typical shooting you will be doing. I've used both 100 and 300 yard zeros but prefer 100 because when I hunt I may be shooting well inside 300 at times and don't want to hold under.

When you get used to dialing your scope its just easier keeping a 100yd zero in my opinion.
