I got my hands on one of the Troy Industries upper receivers they created for the M110 replacement solicitation. It fits my SR25 lower perfectly. I also randomly have a SR25 URX4 15" rail sitting around. I have been pondering ordering a 16" Bartlein 6.5 Creedmoor barrel from Craddock Precision. I have a Bartlein on a 6.5 bolt gun that shoots lights out. I have no experience with Craddock Precision.

I am looking for the Hide's thoughts on Craddock Precision and if we think the juice is worth the squeeze on Bartlein gas gun barrels.

I have no opinion on current Bartlein products, but can 100% recommend Paul's work at Craddock Precision! Back a few years ago before Larue offered 6.5 cm barrels for their PredatOBRs, Paul spun up a complete barrel, extension and with a Superlative adjustable gas block for me. Answered all my questions, even the dumb ones...:unsure::unsure:

Do you know what kind of barrel blank it was? What is your thoughts on the adjustable gas block? Is it needed or do you essentially leave it wide open?

If you're properly tuning to shoot a 6.5 Creedmoor in a large frame gasser yes having the right buffer set up and the right gas tune makes a world of difference especially in brass life. Wide open with no tune leaves serious gouges and rips on the case head wear a properly tuned buffer spring combo and gas tune leave brass looking like it was fired in a bolt gun. I've built and tuned a ton of 65 Creedmoor large frame gassers over the years and a proper tune makes a world of difference

Sorry, can't recall since it was many rifles ago. I am definitely satisfied with Craddock Precision, though. And yes, sometimes ran with a suppressor, so totally recommend AGB.
