The link to Accuracy Systems I provided you above makes both DPMS and Armalite pattern uppers in 6.5CM.
Also, just because you didn't like your DPMS rifle in .223 doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the "DPMS Pattern" uppers/lowers. You don't have to go with a DPMS manufactured rifle or parts. The "pattern" just refers to compatibility with uppers/mags/etc. Armalites use Armalite mags ONLY (no real aftermarket support for mags at this time). The DPMS pattern rifles can use DPMS, KAC, and C-Products mags, and the new Magpul LR-20 PMAGs.

got ya thanks for the info im just getting into the 308 size (ar10) style rifles i have 3 ar15 style rifles and a ptr91 but im looking for something with more long range accuracy but i didnt mean to offend any one. of the 3 ar15's i have the fit and finish on the dpms was not on par with my bushmaster or my armalite and just felt cheap even though the accuracy was about the same!

yes you can get the upper at midway or buy a complete rifle from many places, buddie got one last month. very good shooter
