I recently reloaded around 50rds of 77gr. Sierra Matchkings (<span style="font-weight: bold">w/o</span> cannalure),CCI BR4 Primer, Win Brass, Varget and I had them set aside while I was going back and putting a small crimp my 62gr. FMJBT bullets I use just for plinking steel targets and I accidently crimped my non-cannalured 77gr. SMK I just loaded! Shit!
When I was crimping all the 62gr. bullets (200rds) I was kinda watchin tv and trying to listen to the girlfriend all at the same time (isnt easy!). When I trim, throw powder, seat bullets, etc it has my undivided attention but with crimping bullets im not using for serious accuracy I wasnt really focused.

Im just wondering, am I going to lose alot of the accuracy out of those bullets I crimped w/o a cannalure? GTG?

At the end I blamed everything on the girlfriend.Obviously.
I told her to stay out of the reloading den when im in it unless you are dying.

Try a few rounds at random. Some loads are OK to crimp.

An important thing to keep in mind is whether or not they will chamber correctly. My crimp for most rifles is very light. The load for the AR I used to have, is actually a little MORE accurate than not crimped. The bolt guns don't get a crimp at all. But I do crimp for gas guns.
