I know of a gun owner who decrys short barreled ar-10's for the following reasons 1] too loud 2] far to short of range ....he thinks the longer barrel is better but never carried one in the field ....sound of the shorter is louder than longer maybe true because the muzzle is closer to the ears !!!!! ok here is some fresh meat and have fun with this one!!!
