I already asked some questions in other forums, but I just saw this intro forum so I thought it would be appropriate. The welcome I've received has been warm and the community here seems awesome so far. I'm glad a random stranger from the range turned me onto it.
I'm in the Army, currently stationed at JBER, AK in Anchorage. I'm 31 yr old... Not sure what the average age is in this sport/hobby/life. Originally from Indianapolis.
I'm brand new to long range shooting and will be looking to put together my first rifle this summer. Gonna have to start out small with the budget until I convince my wife that I'm committed to the long range life. (My woodworking hobby was a bit of a flop so far, so she's skeptical)
Anyways, glad I found this forum and the resources here on Sniper's Hide. Gonna keep trying to learn all I can and get into the game.
