Custom 10/22

Re: Custom 10/22

To the barrel questions, it is not carbon fiber it is finished to look like marble. It is a whistle pig barrel. I have not shot it on paper but shooting across a pond at dirt it look like pretty consistant impacts.

The stock is a stockys eliminator.

He sent me all the other specs. Will post them when I get off work in the morning.

Don't know much about the trigger either except that it feels nice. The scope is a Simmons, probably just an extra he had at the house. I've been to busy to take it to the range. Maybe tomorrow.

Took her to the range today for just a quick 10 shots at 25 and 50 yards. Looks good to me, I don't know what kinda of accuracy is said to be good out a .22 though.

Re: Custom 10/22

BTT with a couple questions. First I am looking for a nicer scope for this rifle. I would like to keep it light and I don't really need adjustment knobs but a mil or hash reticle would be nice. Mostly gets used to do shoot critters from the back of a truck within 50yrds. Don't know much about rimfire scopes. Second, the barrel my fiancee's dad bought is compensated. I have been considering putting a suppressor on it but am not sure if I would be able to thread it with the small slits in the barrel. Would the light charge of a 22 be enough that it would not really do any dmg to the threads of a can?
