Not a sniper rifle but definitely an old bench rest/varmint gun.
Picked up a beautiful Charley Flaig custom pre 64 (1955 best guess) Model 70 in .243 today. Also has a period correct Bausch and Lomb 2.5-8 optic on it on top of a Kuharsky Bros mount. Windage and elevation adjustable not from the scope but from the mount. Douglas custom barrel. Outside of the recoil pad having hardened, this thing is just beautiful. Gentleman I bought it from told me his grandfather had it custom built at the Flaig shop in Pennsylvania.
Wondering if anyone has any Charley Flaig gun reviews. Came with 250 rounds including a few boxes of reloads dated 1976.
Looking forward to seeing how the old girl groups.
