Custom Tikka T3 Varmint Project Done! (Pic heavy)

My Father-in-Law bought me a Tikka T3 Varmint in 223 Remington in the early part of last year. I decided to customize it with some after market parts and had been working and waiting on parts since I got it. It's finally done, but unfortunately, my Father-in-Law passed away in the early part of December, so he never had a chance to see the finished product.

Great... just started picking up bits for a custom build and now I wanna get an XLR stock for my Tikka 223 stainless varmint. Looks amazing by the way ! Nice work.

Did the T3 receiver require any mods to work with the AI magazine?

Did the XLR chassis come with a recoil lug? Or did you re-use the factory lug? Did it just pop in or was the lug glued in?

I've been shooting both the Hornady 75gr HPBT and the 75gr AMax. Seems I'm getting the best results with the Amax.

The AI magazines required some slight trimmining in order to work with the Tikka action. There's plenty of material on the magazine, so it has no affect on its functionality. The chassis did come with a lug that was drop in and not glued.
