Gunsmithing Cut down my 5R stock

I wanted to add a butt pad but I didn't want to change the LOP. I think this stock is an HS precision with alum. bedding block. I also added some lead, a little over a lb. All in the chase to make this an enjoyable rifle to shoot.
In the first pic I removed the existing pad. I didn't know how it was attached so I drilled into it to break the bond. If you were going to do this project yourself, don't bother to take the old pad off, just let it come off with the cut-off, since it was glued on.

This is my set-up I got my saw setup to the correct angle.

Adding a glue and lead mix to the hole in the butt.

The finished project, I did have to trim down the pad a little. SScott

It's just one of those deals that I had to decide to go-for.
I really like how it turned out, and can't wait to get to the range and feel how smooth it is.
I wanted to share this with the Hide members because I was unable to find any information about it when I first got the idea.

I recommend mixing lead shot with 5 minute epoxy to the hollow cavity, it really balances out the rifle, and combined with the Limbsaver makes the rifle a dream to shoot.
