Just thought i would share this with you guys that have cz rifles. I installed my Yo Dave Trigger kit in my gun, and got it down to 5 oz safely. and there are other springs included with the kit if you want a heavier trigger pull. Also comes with pin shims for sear engagement. Well worth the money and super easy to do!

eye candy

Re: CZ 452 Triiger Kit

Define 5oz safely?

I have used a similar kit and while it works great, the CZ trigger isn't going to be safe at 5oz. The design just doesn't allow it to be. Mine gets down to a less than 2 lbs but becomes unsafe after that point. Give that stock a good whack and I bet it fires when set that light.

Re: CZ 452 Triiger Kit

i have a yo dave sitting on my bench ready for an install in my new 455.

can't wait to put it in to see how it works, i hear very good things about it, especially for the $18. i do like the idea of an adjustable such as a rifle basix, but figure i'd roll the dice on under $20.00 yo dave. i was also looking at DIP, but they don't have an adjustable sear for the 455 yet but one is in the works.

i'm retro fitting the 455 into an AICS stock, before i put the trigger kit in i wanted to make sure that the new stock is either going to help, hurt, or keep the same the consistancy of the rifle without adding the trigger variable.

hopefully with have both sides of the coin done in the next few weeks.

good to know the Yo Dave is worth waiting for, how is the creep (or lack of)?

thanks clane.

just to add on the "safe" aspect, a good whack to the butt with a rubber mallet works too, safety off, make sure it's unloaded first. i used to "drop" mine from 12" to a thin rubber backed carpet on a concrete floor, but have gone to the mallet as it seems more humane with less risk of actually dropping and losing control of the rifle.

a series of very hard bolt cyclings (empty rifle, safety off) helps too to determine slam fires.

Re: CZ 452 Triiger Kit

I put Automated Solutions adjustable sears into both my CZ 452s. It's a good solution as well. I like being able to tune the release to just where I want it. On one I used the AS lightweight spring and maxed out the adjustment (to the heavy side) and got 1.5 lbs. On the other I kept the stock spring and ran the adjustment nut the other way and got 2.5 lbs.

Beautiful Klinsky stock by the way.
