I'm debating either a CZ 455 varmint precision trainer with the t4 manners stock OR the CZ 455 varmint with wood stock and replace the stock with a KRG Bravo. Both would be 20.5" barrel. Obviously, the KRG option would be more expensive. Any insight on which would have the most potential? With the KRG being fairly new for the 455, I haven't read much feedback. I like the adjustable comb on the KRG, but could add a adjustable comb to the stock manners t4. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

Many sources say 16" barrel is optimal for 22lr. I have a cz factory 16.5" varmint sr profile barrel in a mcree precision chassis. The best ammo for that combo is eley match out of 24 I tested, I can do one hole 5 shot group at 50 yards. I had a factory 26" barrel before and the short barrel seems to group better in general but prefers different ammo.

I like the looks of both stocks. Well, except the camo job on the manners. I figure I could repaint it and be satisfied. I guess it's to early for any reports on the krg 455 combo.

Buy the VPT you can always sell the stock and probably get some good money for it as they seem to be in high demand.

I like the manners ? I think the GAP camo looks awesome.

That is a good point. Yours looks very nice! Anyone know if the anarchy bolt handle/knob works ok with manners stock? I've been told both, so trying to get a definite answer.

I bought the Tacticool model, but kind of wish I'd gone for the VPT. I bet demand for the Manners goes down now that KRG has a Bravo for it. If it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't even know that it was available yet. I've been waiting for it to be released so I can throw my CZ in it.

Thanks!

Isn’t it just the Bravo stock on a 180 forend? I have heard that it has a 700style magwell cutout and difficult to insert magazine.

If it’s a tru Bravo made specifically for the CZ455 I would be interested as I have a Bravo for my Tikka and it’s nice.

I've been reading up on it and, yes, it is the Bravo stock on the 180. I saw photos of the mag well in another thread. It looks like it wouldn't be too bad to insert remove the magazine with the DIP extended lever, but I will wait for more of them to get out into people's hands.

Get a VPT and do what you like to make it your own. You can always cut the barrel. I had mine threaded for a suppressor. The reason for the flash hider is it is easier to grip when wet and/or cold than a nicely blended thread protector. Mine if in the foreground below.

Should you settle on the VPT, buy from a place that'll let you go through their inventory and cherry-pick the best example. My experience (sample size of 2) is that the Manners stock, being a hand-made thing, will be "twisted" with a lop-sided forend that is not perpendicular to the butt or grip. It goes beyond aesthetics because the rifle will then have a built in cant when shooting off bags or will use up some of the available adjustment in a bipod.
