So thinking about getting a CZ 455 Varmint late this year. I was going to go the Tacticool route, but I handled a SH member's (THANKS CLAY!) KMW Sentinel stock and now have to have one of those of my main rifle. Keeping in the spirit of a trainer (was going to put a MCS T6 on main, hence the reason for the Tacticool), I am now looking for a solid thumbhole for a CZ 455.

Has anyone heard of, or done business with this company?

I know an AI and KMW are different, but I can't really find any other decent thumbhole stocks except for Boyd's, which looks FAR different than the KMW. Plus I'd like to have a trainer stock that is ambidextrious like the KMW.

And yes, I thought about the Anshutz thumbhole stocked rifle and am actually considering it. That said, I can get a 455 (msrp $469), the Klinsky stock ($319 USD), and a Lija barrel ($410) for lower than the factory Anschutz ($1,650 from Euro Optic).

Anyways... opinions?

Thank you,

I have a Klinsky for my CZ452 Varmint, but not the thumbhole version. Last I had heard their was only one guy importing the stocks to the US (Rimfire Central handle of BRNOMan aka Denny). I don't believe you can order direct from Klinsky in the US.

I believe all the Klinsky stocks are Beech. I know my stock is beefy and a bit heavy, but very good quality.

The accessory rail on the bottom is neither Anz nor Win/Freeland but can be opened up to take Anz accessories. The inletting was rough on mine and needed quite a bit of fitting. Overall though very happy with the stock and glad I snagged one when I did.
