Picked up the 22LR Tacticool a few years back and decided to buy the 17hmr barrel from CZ. Installed in minutes and it seems to like a variety of ammo and will shoot under an inch @ 100 yards. The problem is consistency. Not sure if the stock is holding me back at this point, being wood and well... it's pretty cheap.

Has anyone bedded their boyd's tacticool and gotten better consistency with their CZ455's or should I just look at getting a new/better stock?

I have bedded both my savage mkIi fvsr and 93r17TR. the mkIi is in a tacticool, the 93r17TR comes from the factory with almost the exact same stock. Both have improved after bedding. Just take your time, do some research before going at it. Check out cavedweller1959 on YouTube, he has some very good rim fire bedding videos.

If you upgrade stocks and bed it you'll cut some weight by going with a Mcmillan, bedding it couldn't hurt. If i'm not mistaken the tacticool came with a Laminated future wood plywood stock so their should be very little flex or environmental variations, as it is more glue than wood at this point.
