CZ guys may be interested in this.

It's a "mini-chassis" sort of like the Manners version, but made to fit the CZ. I cut it out today! It's not quite finished as you can see, but will be soon! Hoping to see how it affects accuracy soon! Thought I'd share and see what you guys thought. Sorry for the crappy pic, but you get the idea.

Nice work! Interested to find out if it makes a notable difference. I always respect and appreciate a good, creative, DIY project. Jealous of your machining abilities/access.

When the chassis block fits into the stock - it needs to be held there. I assume you'd use an epoxy/devcon/bedding of some kind, so it'd be a good idea to mill grooves in the sides of the block where epoxy can grip onto it and keep it securely in the stock.
Check out the block on Longrifles site and you'll see a big groove down either side to help epoxy hold it into the stock: LongRifles, Inc. - Remember, Men will bet their lives on the work you do.

I understand now! I was confused as to the positioning of the bedding you are talking about. I'll be sure to add those!

I appreciate all of the positive comments! Can't wait to get it tested!

Very nice, the CZ is becoming VERY popular. I was getting a lot of requests for the Savage stocks, but it has been increasing in numbers for the CZ.

I think the CZ is going to surpass the Savage rimfire line. While I feel the Savage is a great rifle for the money, the CZ offers so much more flexibility. They are becoming the 10/22 of the bolt action rimfires in my opinion! I think one of these in one of your un-inletted stocks would be pretty awesome!

The 455 indeed is becoming the 10/22 as far as modifications go. I just wish cz would sell just the action already! I've attempted to purchase just the actions 3 times now and each time got a big fat NO! At least they have the American synthetic which is around $360 and selling off the barrel and stock gets you the action for $210-$260 :).

Got a chance to shoot this contraption today. While the setup wasn't completely solid, my vise kept shifting a bit. But it does look quite promising! Next step will be to sink it into a stock and see how it works then!
