So, the ball bearing on the end of the sear spring whipped my ass and finally on about the 87th attempt at reinstalling that little bastard went flying across the room like it just got shot out of a freaking sling shot!! Long story short, can't find it. Anyone know what size this ball is or know where I can find a new one? Already have new trigger spring in it and was happy with trigger before this catastrophe happened, so I don't want to switch to timney, fly, ect. Thanks

Yep, that CZ sear ball has induced more curse words than bad traffic. Been a while since I had a go round with mine but I believe it's .125". If that's incorrect some one will chime in.

That 455 sear ball caused me more headache than just about any other gun part ever has. Cerakoted the action and barrel so it all had to come apart, that was easy. You know things are bad when you ask your wife for help (and you know better than to ask your wife for help in these situations because of past experience) in putting it back together and it still requires 45 minutes and about 25+ tries with 4 hands, a vise, good lighting and all the tools you need except whatever the factory uses as an assembly jig.

Seriously, if I ever do trigger removal on a CZ455 again I'm putting in a Rifle Basix or Mr Fly trigger aftermarket trigger to avoid that mess.

Here is the CZ455 $2 part: https://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/324912040052_Sear-Steel-Ball-452455

Ha!
SEAR STEEL BALL 452 AND 455
GUNSMITH INSTALLATION IS RECOMMENDED

Good to know I have a 452, but it cannot be worse than an m1a plunger and extractor install.

Try taping the ball to the sear. Jam it in the receiver, set the pins, and pick out the tape later.
(Yeah, degrease it all so the tape sticks.)

Brilliant idea for the tape, if it works! I finally wound up using some heavy grease to hold ball in place with 4 hands and luck coupled with persistence and a set of surgical locking forceps.
