Hi guys. I installed a Yodave kit. Used the smallest shim and the second lightest spring. Its set at a little less than a pound. It passed the bump test and worked good with snap caps. I just went to the range and it would not reset the trigger every once in a while. Would the shim, spring, or both be the issue? Thanks for any info.

Not directly a YoDave and CZ452 issue, but I had something similar when I was putting together a Savage with the Accutrigger set to the lightest setting. It would pass the "bump test," but in retrospect, it was probably not passing the "cycle the action fast" test and I had issues with not being able to engage the trigger until I recocked the bolt.
I would recommend adjusting the springs or shims to a slightly higher pull weight setting and trying both tests.

YMMV, happy shooting

The shim is to remove “creep” or pretravel. One of my 452’s didn’t need the shim because the stock trigger had almost no creep. I imagine if I had used a shim anyway I would have had similar issues. I would just remove the shim and try that. I have the lightest spring and no shim in one rifle. It passed both the bump and hard bolt cycling tests. Any of my other CZ’s won’t pass the tests with the lightest spring.
