D-lead also makes wet wipes which I use. You can get them in several container types, but I use the ones in plastic canisters that look like Lysol or Clorox wipes. They work pretty well at removing the stuff I can see.

Washing your hands with soap and water is good.
Any wet wipes are better than nothing.
Anything containing EDTA is much much better than soap and water.
I use the Grime Boss wipes. They contain EDTA, that's the lead/heavy metal chelating agent. Same ingredient is in the D-wipes and D-soap.

Does anyone here know for certain that we’re transferring lead from our hands at the range? I reload and have both Dlead and lead off in the workshop and I prefer lead off. I carry lead off in a small pump bottle to the range and wash with water I bring just to be safe. But I think the exposure at the range would be relatively low unless digging in a backstop/berm for lead collecting.

Supposedly handling any steel targets after shooting is a high exposure as well

I just lick my hands clean.

Reminds me of the paint chips.

I do wear nitrile gloves when I load lead bullets on the press though. Thats a lot of lead in my hand. Dont worry otherwise.

My range has it in the bathroom.

I’ve been using D-Lead since ‘08. It works well & I've no complaints. If there’s a better product I’m all for using it.

If I’m at a range where we take our own steel I use gloves to set up / tear down. One of my buddies has some steel that hangs off 2X4s w/ chains & the wood collects spall. I cut the shit out of my hand loading it one day. So, leather work gloves are now SOP.
