I can't say for sure as I haven't broken one open, but I think it may be a partial tang with a welded tang extension of some sort

Everything in the original picture except the two on the bottom left. The edge could be better once you get it, but once it's sharpened to your liking they hold a pretty good edge. I have one I sharpened and it does quite well. I've had nothing but good reviews so far
